Welcome to Star Trek: Inquisitor

The USS Inquisitor is a Star Trek based role-playing game which meets every Sunday, at 2 PM ET (7 PM UK), on irc.starlink-irc.org, in #USS-Inquisitor. Essentially the crew members enact the goings on aboard a fictional vessel based on the Star Trek universe as portrayed in The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager. The USS Inquisitor is a member of the Federation Sim Group, an free organisation dedicated to providing quality sims such as this to all on-line.

Background

The USS Inquisitor is a Defiant Class vessel, fitted with an experimental drive. Designed to cause a flexing in the subspace strata, the Double Drive was intended to cut down the distances necessary and allow warp speeds up to twice that of other craft. Unfortunately, the drive didn't work, and during the first trials, the entire ship with its skeleton crew was thrown out of its dimension, never to return. Three years and four captains later, the USS Inquisitor is still travelling between universes encountering alien races, planets and technology which others have only dreamed of.
